Whether you are responsible for a small team, local branch, large division or the entire company, there are some common challenges you will all share. There are high targets and quotas to meet. Large projects to complete (on time and under budget). Increasing productivity and profitability are now expected, not wished for.
To reach your targets will require great teamwork. I coach managers/executives and show them how to coach their people. This allows the high targets to be obtained more quickly and with less employee burnout. Teams working with a coach become more responsible and accountable.
Large projects require focus. Working with a coach, you will be less likely to be distracted by tasks that do not contribute to completing the project and only waste your time.
Efficiency and increased profits are not an option today with the current market and economic challenges that all businesses face. Maybe cultural shifts need to be made. Departmental goals may need to be aligned with the mission of the company. These kinds of changes are often needed to take the company to a higher level. Sometimes they can be difficult emotionally for the employees involved. As your coach, I will advise on ways to approach the needed changes that will result in not only less stress for everyone, but will set the stage for a more empowered workforce going forward.
